God Needs Artists
Here is a way you can use your
talents as an Artist
We need You for an exhibition to benefit an organization called, Living
Water International
. LWI sends missionaries all over the world to drill
wells for those who do not have clean drinking water. Most of the work is
done by local nationals (Africans, Peruvians, Kenyans, etc) who
LWI trains
and equips. They also, teach about sanitation. A child dies from diarrhea
every 15 seconds. 1.1 billion people lack clean drinking water. 1 in 6 people
in the world don’t have clean drinking water. I know it is hard to believe
something so simple is not available to so many.
Here are the web sites that you will need to look at:

What we are going to do
We are going to have 10-20 paintings displayed at churches and restaurants all over San Antonio during the
month of October then in November they will be at a final showing for a month. We are in the process of trying
to reserve spaces. Artists will bring cookies and food trays for the final event.

Fine Artists will use photos from missionary trips that show pictures of children at the wells. You will create a
painting from the picture in your own style and medium. Acrylics and Oil paintings need to be framed.
Watercolors need to be matted and framed.
Photographers should create pictures of water or related themes. Photos need to be matted and framed.
Digital Media Artists can create water pictures or related themes. These will need to be matted and framed.
Designs printed on t-shirts would be great also.
Children will take the Living Water Logo and paint or draw it in their own style. These should  be no larger than
8X10 and framed. We will need a carpenter and someone to carry the expense of display boards for this. Children
can also do t-shirt designs on any size t-shirt using digital or paint.
Sculptors please send me an e-mail of your idea so, that I can make sure to find the right space for your piece.

I hope to hear from you soon so that we can get things cooking.
